Hood awnings are the most popular style of fabric awning. They feature a traditional single-sloped top with triangular-shaped side panels and a valance running along the bottom perimeter. They are most often used for door and window applications. They typically project 3’to 4’ out from the building, but can project up to 6’ without support posts in certain situations. Our Hood awnings are typically manufactured with 1”x1” aluminum frames and Sunbrella covers. Our covers are screwed to the frames using a concealed webbing band to stretch them tighter than can be done with traditional lacing. They also feature laced rafter bands on all internal rafters, and corner reinforcement patches on all hanging valances.
