Dome Awnings

Dome awnings are sphere-shaped. They are usually found in the form of a quarter-sphere made up of vertically faceted sections. They are typically manufactured with 1”x1” aluminum frames, with the bows spaced no more than 17” apart. Covers are typically manufactured from Sunbrella and are screwed to the frames using a concealed webbing band to stretch them tighter than can be done with traditional lacing. Dome awnings require a much higher skill-level and are more time-consuming to produce properly than most other awning styles.
